The PTO drive shaft for agricultural applications consists of two cardan joints and a telescopic coupling.Thecardan joint, consisting of two yokes and a cross, is the element used to transmit the motion between two tiltedaxdes.

Alloway Shredders use a variety of clutches at the implement connecting end. Some are specific and must be replaced identically. Some are more generic and can be replaced by several optional devices. The key is whether or not the input shaft has a groove such as the tractor PTO output does.
