4B QD Bushed Sheaves Pulleys for "A" and "B" Belts
The 4B series pulleys are used for A, AX, AA, 4L, B, BX, BB and 5L v-belts with diameters ranging from 3.75 "to 38.35". Depending on the pulley size, they can be used with SH, SD, SK, SF or E QD bushings, which we also have in stock. Our four groove 4B QD bushing pulleys are mostly made of high strength grade 35 cast iron, coated with phosphate and coated with anti-corrosion paint. All these are balanced at the factory to ensure smooth operation of the machine. The main advantage of using QD (quick detachable) pulleys is that if the bushing (hub) is broken, the entire assembly does not need to be replaced, or if only the pulley is worn, the same principle applies. Another significant advantage is that compared with the "fixed hole" type, the QD pulley has a wider range of hole options.

QD bushing pulley
The manufacturing tolerance of QD bushing pulley is accurate. They have different diameters and can be statically or dynamically balanced. These pulleys are made of grey cast iron from GG 25 to GG 30. They have a strength of 207 Mpa and a hardness of 187 to 241.
One side of the QD casing has a fully split flange and a straight flange around the outer diameter. The flange fits closely and requires a hex head screw to install the component. When the screws are tightened, the flange compresses and tightens the identified parts on the bushing.
