Its primary purpose is to keep the belt on track and guide it back to the center of the conveyor frame, especially when the belt is clean or there is minimal return material.
Two angled rollers: The core of this design is two rollers that are angled upward from each other (usually 5°, 10° or 15°) to form an inverted V shape. This geometry provides the guiding force.
Fixed frame or pivoting (self-aligning):
Some inverted V rollers are fixed and rely solely on the V-shaped structure for the guiding effect.
Many roller designs are self-aligning or self-aligning rollers. In this case, the entire assembly is mounted on a central pivot point (or similar mechanism without a swivel mechanism) that allows it to rotate slightly in response to belt movement.
