Load capacity
The load capacity of a trailer spindle refers to the maximum weight that the trailer can carry. Then, remove the outer hub assembly. This includes the bearing washer and inner spindle nut. The inner bearing nut should be tightened to at least 100 Ft.-Lb. torque. Be sure not to rotate the inner nut while tying the spindle. Afterward, install the hub cap. Oiling the hub with SAE 90W gear oil will help protect the bearings.
