The brake motor is composed of a three-phase asynchronous motor and a brake, and is a derivative series of three-phase asynchronous motors. The brake is divided into two forms: manual release and bolt release. The brake is the main component of the brake motor, and its working power supply is divided into two categories: one is AC brake and the other is DC brake. At present,the brakes produced by our company are all DC brake motors, which have the advantages of large braking torque, convenient installation and debugging, fast braking response speed, high reliability, and strong versatility.
YEJ brake motor working principle/OPERATING PRINCIPLE
1.The rear end cover of the motor is equipped with a friction disc and an excitation coil made of asbestos wear-resistant material. When the motor loses power, the friction disc is tightly pressed against the processed plane of the rear end cover of the motor by the brake spring through a clamping plate, so that the brake disc generates a strong friction torque to achieve the purpose of braking. When the excitation coil is energized, electromagnetic attraction is generated to attract the spring clamping plate, and the clamping plate leaves the friction disc. The friction disc is released and the motor rotates flexibly. Depending on the power of the motor, the coil resistance is between tens and hundreds of ohms.
2. The DC brake cannot be directly connected to the AC power supply. The brake chuck is equipped with a winding coil, and the rated voltage of the winding is a low-voltage DC voltage. When working, the single-phase AC power supply must be rectified and provided to the chuck winding. Therefore, a rectifier is also installed in the brake motor junction box. The wiring method is shown in Figure 5 on page 25.
THE BRAKING TIME
The braking time (t) of the brake motor is the time from the moment the power supply to the motor and brake stops to the complete stop of the shaft. Generally, the braking time of the motor with a frame size of 63-80 is 0.5 seconds, the braking time of the motor with a frame size of 90-132 is 1 second, and the braking time of the motor with a frame size of 160-180 is 2 seconds.
Adjustment and maintenance of brake motor
In the course of braking the motor increases the number of brake friction disc wear condition will exist,so a gap of the motor cover plate of the friction increases. Changes to the long-term operation of the motor, the motor directly affects the gap between the braking torque. When adjusting the gap is not too small, the gap is too small, the friction disc friction with the motor cover can not be completely separated from the plane and burned the motor, the gap is too large, pressed board can not pull or pull a strong noise process. Brake pressing plate at the gap magnechuck brakes, generally for 63 to112 frame size motor, the brake gap between0.25mm to 0.30mm, for132-180frame size motor, the brake gap between0.50mm to 0.80mm.
