Model 400 three-point pile hole excavator suitable for compact/ultra-compact/class 0 tractors

Model 400 three-point pile digger is an agricultural equipment used to dig holes for fence piles, road signs or any other work requiring deep holes on the ground. It is specially designed to be connected to the rear of a tractor or similar vehicle to provide the necessary power for its operation. The 400 three-point rear hole excavator is composed of a heavy steel frame with a gearbox, which connects the auger of the excavator to the power output of the tractor. It has a three-point linkage which is connected to the hydraulic system of the tractor to raise and lower the excavator to the required position. The auger is a helical drill bit that rotates as the tractor engine turns the PTO shaft. As the auger gets deeper and deeper, the rotation of the auger forms a hole in the ground. The 400 three-point back-hole excavator has different configurations and different auger sizes, depending on the operation requirements. The use of 400 three-point backhole excavator requires a skilled operatorwith experience in operating agricultural equipment. Assembly instructions for 400 three-point drill

Step 1: The gearbox of the 3-point rear drilling excavator is transported without lubricant. Fill the top hole with EP90 lubricant or equivalent. The three-point post-drilling digging gearbox can hold 25 ounces (0.7 liters) of fluid. Fill to the bottom of the side plug. Do not overfill as this may damage the seal. Check the oil level every 50 hours of operation. Step 2: Remove the manual and hardware components from manual tank 2. Connect the manual carbon canister 2 to the boom 3 with the hexagon bolt M8 X 16 X 1.25 mm 1.

Step 3: Connect the 7/8 "lock washer 3, 7/8" hex nut 2 and traction pin 4 to the "A" frame 5. For Type 650 excavator, type 1 tractor (lift arm spacing is 26 "), use the pin in the inward position. For type 2 tractor (lift arm spacing is 32"), the pin should point outward.

Step 4: Connect the "A" frame assembly 2 to the tractor's three-point lift arm. Connect boom assembly 1 to the tractor. Connect the "A" frame 2 to boom 1 using pins 3 and 4. The size of the tractor and auger will determine which hole is most suitable for angle adjustment. After assembly, it may be necessary to change the position of the "A" frame to the boom. When the tractor lift arm is raised, the auger should not be more than 6 inches from the ground.

Step 5: Use boom pin 2 to connect the three-point post excavator gearbox 1 to the boom and secure it with cotter pin 3.

Step 6: Use the hex bolt 3/8 "x 3" G5 2, 3/8 "lock washer 3, and 3/8" - 16 hex nut 4 to connect the power train 1 to the three-point stud excavator gearbox input shaft. take ¼ The "x 3/8" set screw is inserted into the hole on the yoke, which is aligned with the 3/16 "groove on the gearbox input shaft. Tighten loosely. Connect the tractor end of power train 1 to the tractor PTO shaft. Retract the yellow galvanized outer collar and slide it onto the splined PTO shaft of the tractor. When the collar is firmly seated on the shaft, loosen the collar. The tractor end of the driveline has a 1-3/8 × 6 Splines. Use only grade 2 or grade 5 bolts to avoid damage to the gearbox or auger. Important: The universal joint should be lubricated with high-quality chassis lubricating oil approximately every 6 months. Step 7: Use hexagon bolt 1/2 ″ - 13 × 34, ½” Lock washer 3 and ½” The hex nut 2 connects the auger 1 to the output shaft at the bottom of the 3-point stud digging gearbox. Tighten the hardware.

NOTE:Please refer to the following figure for reference when assembling and installing the excavator on the tractor. If the 7/8-inch
diameter traction pin in the "A" frame is too small for the hole in the lift arm, the type 1 to type 2 traction pin can be
replaced or the bushing can be used to obtain the correct fit.
